Degla Poultry Company was established in 1980 in the city of Jubail and has since gained the lead in pioneering this vital field, aiming to contribute to achieving self-sufficiency in the Kingdom’s needs for poultry birds and supporting national food security. The food industry sector has witnessed remarkable growth for several years, and food products have also diversified and developed to suit Population growth and urban expansion.
Thanks to God, the company has since made steady progress towards achieving its goals. Production has increased from 500,000 poultry birds annually in 1980 until it reached approximately 5 million poultry birds annually at the present time. The company currently owns three broiler chicken farms and three chicken farms. Layers with a capacity of 250,000 chicks, in addition to two hatching laboratories with a production capacity of 60 million hatching chicks annually.
Degla Poultry is moving forward at a steady pace towards implementing a number of expansion plans to increase its production in line with the increase in demand and in support of the needs of its customers, in order to contribute in turn to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
